About The Cavern Music Bar

The Caverns humble beginnings started in a record shop on Castle Hill walk in a small picturesque town of Richmond in North Yorkshire. Don’t know it?! Well you should. Mark O’Grady set out on a mission to bring the great sounds across the ages to this little town. The record shop didn’t stop here, Mark also occasionally provided ‘Captain Caveman’ a disco experience like no other. Which more or less was the sort after service for weddings, local pubs and the odd birthday party. However records largely became over shadowed by more modern technical means and landlords of pubs changed hands so much it was hard to keep up. It was time to think of an alternative solution to bring this great music to the townsfolk.

God therefore planted the idea of placing the very two things Mark O’Grady loved the most.

“I know, why don’t I put this wonderful music inside a bar of my own!”

And henceforth blossomed ‘The Cavern Music Bar.’ So now the townsfolk have both of what they need in their life, great music and great drinks and even the opportunity to buy a compilation CD on show to take and blast out at home

Oh and the odd themed night, just to make things more interesting and why not it’s fun!

The townsfolk hailed The Cavern in awe! and now everyone lives in happiness.
